To teach or not to teach -

that was the question!

I was not sure what college degree to pursue. After talking to many teachers, I decided to go to the new department at the University called

Language and World Business.

This combined a Global Business degree with a degree in a foriegn language. My language was German. The degree was a language major with a business minor. Since that time UT has changed the program to Global Business Institute.

Global

I finised my double degree in three years. (International Marketing & International Logistics and Transportation).

I took 18 to 21 hours each session and went straight through attending every session (summers, mini-sessions, etc.). I was able to skip many classes in German and in business because I lived in German speaking countries for over 15 years and I ran several businesses in Germany during my stay. Although they were small enterprises that brought in little money, I did recieve experience from the work that I did. I was able to skip the intership part of the program and graduate early.

I graduated! It is never too late to get an education!
